A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to NURTURE YOUR MIND AND BODY. The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and an eye mask.
During my sound bath, I start with a grounding meditation and sometimes mindful movements to relax your body. I then ‘bath’ the students with different sound vibrations through instruments like the symphonic gong, buffalo drum,Tibetan bowls, kochi chimes, D-Amara handpan, and 7 chakra crystal singing bowls. The brainwave state is altered from normal waking state (beta) to relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even restorative state (delta). As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease and our breathing becomes deeper to receive calm and peace.

Restorative yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels. By definition, restorative yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses (asanas) for a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
When the body enters a state of relaxation the mind can also consciously relax as tension is released from both body and mind. The only work that's required on your part during a restorative yoga practice is to pay attention to your breath and become aware of any sensations or thoughts that may arise.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A treatment with me can feel like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

A typical one-hour private session starts with a check-in with you in the present moment. I then customize a session that can include mindful movements, meditation, reiki, sound, and Restorative Yoga to get you from stress to rest.

We work together in breathwork, meditation, somatic movements, and spinal mobility to relax the “fight/flight” response and move to the “rest and digest” response. With my encouraging cues and use of props, sound instruments and hands-on support, your body can release tension and your mind can feel safe to ease down and deeply rest.
